Congratulations to Andrew!  Andrew recently completed his blue Level 2A Books and has started working from his orange Level 2B Books.  "Long, Long Ago" was his favorite piece he worked on this year.  Blue is his favorite color while sausage pizza and noodles are his favorite foods.  Andrew is preparing for his first National Piano Guild Audition this spring.  When Andrew is not playing the piano, he can be found playing Legos, and games.  Andrew would like to become a professional pianist when he is older.

Congratulations to Miss Cara!  Cara recently completed her Primer Level (Purple) Piano Adventures Series!  She has already started to work out of the Level 1 series!  Her favorite color is blue and her favorite food is beans & cheese.  "Ode to Joy" was her favorite piece that she worked on so far.  When she is older, Cara would like to become an artist.  Art and playing with her friends are her favorite things to do when she is not practicing the piano.  Cara always greets me at each lesson with her cheery and eager to learn attitude, I really look forward to our lessons.  Miss Cara enjoys working ahead in her piano books and routinely surprises me with what she figure out on her own.  Congratulations Cara on reaching this milestone at the piano, I know it is the first of many to come!

Winter Holiday Recitals, 2016 Recap & New Year Resolutions

Our Annual Winter Holiday Recital Weekend was our final event of 2016.  It was a beautiful way to celebrate eight of students' successes of 2016.  We also had many performers in the audience who will be performing in the spring!  Thank you to all our teachers, students and families for making our annual Winter Holiday Recitals such a success. It was truly a joy to see how much all of our students have progressed over the last year!

Congratulations to all our students for their hard work and dedication to reaching their musical goals this year. More note-worthy milestones were:
  • In 2016 our studio grew to 170 students and 21 instructors!
  • Katelyn & Bridget were awarded their 5 year medals!
  • Adrien, Alex, Andreas, Andrew, Avi, Charlie, Clark, Evie, Grace, Jonathan, Kaylan, Leo, Lexie, Lily, Logan, Lukas, Madeleine, Max, Owen, Peter, Ryan, Sarah, Tamar, Taylor, as well as Bridget, & Katelyn were awarded 3 year lapel pins!
  • Kaylan won the $25 Amazon gift card for being the Practice Jar Award Winner!
  • Bella, Clark, Emily, Ethan, Lexie, & Nicolas all graduated from the Advanced Theory I Course!

After a brief break to celebrate the holidays, our students are right back at their lessons!  Our students have set New Year Music Resolutions and are working hard to acheive them!  I am honored to be a part of this journey with our students!  2017 is going to be amazing as we are celebrating our 10th Anniversary!  Stay "tuned" for details about our 10th birthday celebration!

In case you missed our photos from the recitals - take a peak at the link below (I opted to add a photo of my family and I that was taken after the 4th recital concluded & the decorations were packed, we are all tired but very proud of our students):
