Teaching Philosophy: "The joy and satisfaction of hearing yourself play music on a piano is universal, regardless of age or skill level. I believe that with the proper guidance every individual can have this enriching and gratifying experience. As a teacher, my responsibility is to cultivate each student’s own path on their musical journey.
"I respect individual differences such as learning habits, personality, physical and motor skills, attention span, and schedule availability. I tailor study plans according to such differences. I guide each student to discover their own musical interests, while developing technique that naturally fits their hands. Most importantly, I want to inspire them to express their feelings through making music.
"In the process of helping each student discover their “musical self”, I strive to expose them to the rich culture of musical arts, and nurture a lifelong love and appreciation of the art of piano."
