Teaching Philosophy: "I believe the most important thing when teaching music to kids, adults, or anyone, is to impress how fun and creative it can be. Music is essentially a universal language that anyone can learn to speak; it allows you to interact with other people and express yourself in an abstract way that can uncover deep emotions from the soul that just can’t come out in words. It can make you feel like dancing, laughing, crying, jumping for joy, or any number of things; I always have a great time getting to know kids, what they want to achieve by learning music, and helping them find their place in this symphony of life!"

Biography: Cris Gonzalez is a musician/writer from Atlanta, Georgia. In high school he played regularly around the area, recorded on one album, two EP’s and several singles with various bands, and opened for the likes of Third Eye Blind, and Travis Tritt. Cris has also taught music to kids since 2014, at ALLSTARS Rock Academy (his father’s school), at The New School of Music in Buford GA, as well as independently. He received a certificate in drums from Atlanta Institute of Music and Media (AIMM), and is a current student at Berklee College of Music studying Contemporary Writing and Production. He teaches drums, guitar, bass, piano, and ukulele, and has been playing for over 10 years. He specializes in Rock, Blues, Country, Folk, Jazz, Funk, Indie, and Pop music.

Cris began teaching in 2014, and has been teaching online and in-person lessons with Note-worthy Experiences since February 2022.
