Teaching Philosophy: "I believe making music should bring people joy! I strive to make lessons enjoyable and worthwhile, building a student’s skill and encouraging their creativity. I believe that a solid foundation of technique and musical theory is necessary, whatever a student’s end goals for music lessons may be. I love helping my students think through these goals, and setting them on the right path to get there."

Biography: Erin is a harpist, pianist, and composer. The daughter of a pastor and a music teacher, Erin began playing the piano at a young age, and began her harp studies a few years later. She soon began performing and accompanying in church. From the age of 10, Erin has been performing for weddings and parties with her harp, growing her business until she attended college.

She completed her bachelor’s degree in Harp Performance, then went on to earn a master’s degree in Music Composition. She now performs regularly for events in the Boston area, while composing and arranging in her spare time. Erin has had the opportunity to perform with numerous orchestras and bands in various parts of the country, including the Cambridge Symphony (MA), Kansas City Symphony (MO), the Asheville Symphony Orchestra (NC), the Palmetto Concert Band (SC), and many other university, community, and pit orchestras. She also enjoys sharing her harp music as a soloist, playing for weddings, parties, church services, and other events.

As a composer, Erin specializes in composing and arranging music for the harp. Erin holds degrees from Bob Jones University.

She has been teaching since 2016 and joined Note-worthy Experiences in November 2021. She teaches long-term online lessons for piano and harp.
