Teaching Philosophy: "My teaching philosophy begins with making sure my students are having fun. To me this means always keeping lessons engaging and moving towards a specific goal. I believe through teaching ear training, playing techniques, harmonic understanding, and most importantly songs, my students will build a foundation for lifelong learning."
Biography: Born in Florence, SC, Fletcher Medler grew up in the low country outside Savannah, GA. He took piano lessons from a young age, later picking up the trumpet and the guitar in his school years. In 2011, he began studying trumpet performance at Columbus State University in Columbus, GA. During his time serving in the U.S. Army, he became a common face around the eastern North Carolina scene, playing for area churches and learning from the incredible array of musicians in the region. In 2021, he went back to school at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. It was here he would hone his craft as a guitarist, composer, producer, and teacher. He currently freelances throughout New England playing guitar for weddings, corporate events, clubs, and musicals.
Fletcher began teaching in 2024 and joined Note-worthy Experiences in July 2024, where he teaches guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, trombone and trumpet, as well as beginning horn, euphonium and tuba.
