Teaching Philosophy: "Through the universal language of music, students can learn more about themselves and connect with others. By combining my love of music and performing with my passion for teaching, I approach my students with enthusiasm, patience, and dedication so that they continue to develop their skills, confidence, and their love of music. I take time to learn about my students, their hopes and dreams so that we can communicate and collaborate to set meaningful goals and timelines. Through student-centered, age appropriate, and engaging lessons, I strive to keep my students motivated and challenged so they experience success. I have prepared students for recitals, school performances and auditions and have taught students of all ages, from young children to older adults who upon retirement decided to pursue their lifelong dream of studying music."
