Teaching Philosophy “I am a product of my family and mentors who raised me. My past violin teachers, orchestra conductors/managers, and family have fostered my curiosity and love for music, and it is my life-long dream to be that kind of figure for others. I want to help foster the same passion that I gained for music in my own students, through the kind and supportive way that my past mentors have treated me. I always focus on building a relaxed technical and mental approach to playing string instruments, which can feel awkward and tension-inducing for many students. I try to ask my students questions that can help develop their problem-solving techniques, which can then be applied to their own practice, or any area of life. Through creating a relaxed technique, while at the same time fostering a love for the music we aim to share with others, it is my duty to help my students become the incredible musicians that they desire to be!”
