Teaching Philosophy: “I believe that there are an endless amount of ways to teach a student music. I try to find ways to teach students the fundamentals while also giving them reasons to love what they are doing. It is very important to me to learn a lot about my students’ favorite music and musical backgrounds. Each lesson is tailored to the individual’s needs, and no two lesson plans are the same. The ultimate goal is to help my students become very comfortable with their instruments while also being able to enjoy practicing and working towards goals. Anyone can find love and purpose in music. I intend to guide students on the path of finding their passion and unique sound.”

Nick had a style of teaching that engages and excites my children about learning music. He listens to what they’re interested in and leans in, teaching them songs they’re excited to practice. He’s also very kind and patient, allowing them a safe space to make mistakes and try again.
