Lessons are going really well. And (our son) had a great time performing at the Housing Authority. He's already signed up for October! I also wanted to thank you for supporting us all as we transitioned to lessons with Connor. He and (our son) really seem to be hitting it off, and I appreciate the way Connor celebrates (our son's) interest in composing. (Our son) has made wonderful progress playing with both hands and understanding rhythm.
Eliza from Wayland Two months ago, my daughter started piano lessons with Dan Pappas. On the first day, Dan arrived at our house and immediately my daughter felt comfortable working with Dan. My daughter is a rambunctious six-year old. Since the lessons are at home, my daughter can become easily distracted by her surroundings. Dan is very patient. He finds a proper balance of learning and having fun. Now that we are doing lessons remotely, we are doing two shorter meetings a week. This has helped increase my daughter’s engagement. Overall, the lesson quality remains great. As a family, we appreciate Dan’s flexibility. We have had to move lessons around to accommodate our schedules. Dan has always been very flexible. Despite the chaos (both from a rambunctious six-year old and current life changes), my daughter has progressed rapidly and really enjoys playing the piano.
Finally, I asked my daughter why she likes Dan. She said that Dan is nice and is patient. He lets me learn at my own pace. Ryan from Natick Monica has opened Sam’s eyes and heart to the piano. She is so sweet and has formed a great bond with him. We never expected his skills to flourish amidst a pandemic using FaceTime, but she has gone above and beyond. We are so pleased with his progress and how much he enjoys playing. He has learned theory, developed his ear, and enjoys learning new songs on the piano. More than that he looks forward to his lessons every week! We can’t recommend her more! Monica is amazing.

It's amazing to have pulled off something like this during the pandemic and we are very grateful. I didn't have doubts about your ability to teach, but I thought perhaps on our end it wouldn't feel "real." But it certainly did! I found that my son was more focused than he sometimes is. But I don't know if that was because the lesson was online, or it was just one of his better days in terms of paying attention.
Jeanette from Framingham My son has really enjoyed his piano lessons with Bryce. Bryce does a great job engaging with his students and encouraging them to push out of their comfort zone. He has also made it fun and motivating by introducing different genres of music from Start Wars, to Holiday Music, to Bach. It has also been good for my son to have a male teacher; he really looks up to him and wants to do better!

He jumped right in as a substitute instructor in a seamless way; quickly understanding & responding to their learning styles, personalities, levels, engaging them, challenging them & quickly guiding their growth. He has a kind, positive vibe as he provides a fun, focused lesson. He often adds an extra little element to keep them engaged & learning such as duets, learning how to give (& receive) constructive feedback from each other, listening activities about classical composers. He teaches them to appreciate where they are & get excited about what is next. He is super organized & follows up each lesson with a lesson plan that is extremely helpful for the my kids (& parents too) to navigate exactly what to work on & how to go about it. Tim clearly cares about his students and helping them both progress and find the joy of music! We are so appreciative that he is working with our children!

She is so proud of herself for the progress she's made so far, thanks to Sho for helping her with initial challenges in making a good sound and reaching the more difficult notes. Sho is a very enthusiastic instructor and is very sensitive to the way in which his students learn. Yusuke has been a wonderful guitar teacher for my teen daughter. His clear expertise, patience, and friendly manner make him a perfect match. He listens to her preferences and works with her to play songs that fit her style. Although she has only been playing for a few months, my daughter looks forward to her lessons, enjoys practicing, and is making great progress. We highly recommend Yusuke to anyone looking for a first guitar teacher!
Jessica from Sudbury I can’t express enough appreciation for Tara Chambers teaching our 3 boys piano the past 2 years. The boys could only play baby songs before they started lessons with Tara, who challenged them with playing classical. The boys improved at a speed that we could never imagine. Since then, the boys are confident enough to participate in recitals and competitions. We are amazed by Tara's ability to see the potentials of her students. Tara is patient, encouraging, and loving. She listens to the boys’ preferences and always finds pieces that they enjoy learning. Tara makes learning piano a joyful experience for them. Stephanie from Sudbury Our 14-year-old son started taking trumpet lessons from Cassie a little over six months ago. His improvement was immediate, and he has really enjoyed the lessons. Cassie covers a tremendous amount of ground in each lesson and has worked effectively with our son on musicality and phrasing, dynamic contrast, rhythm/counting, articulation, tone, breath support, intonation - pretty much everything. She also regularly alerts our son to opportunities to grow as a trumpet player outside of school and lessons. She's enthusiastic, direct, efficient, and encouraging. She's been great.

My son has always been fond of creating his own songs from a very young age and Zayde is fostering that love. Zayde encourages him to create his own songs while also teaching him the proper mechanics of playing the guitar. They have explored other music that my son loves and he has taught him how to play his favorite songs. My son always looks forward to his time with Zayde as he is warm and supportive and also an excellent teacher. We are so grateful to have him teaching our son!
