Teaching Philosophy: "As a performer, the stage is the promised land to me— the passionate audience, the classy atmosphere and the melody flowing in the air, nothing is comparable to all these things. But as a teacher, I’d consider myself as a shepherd to students, leading the way to the hall of music. In a tiny little song, there can be elves, fairy tales or even magical creatures. My ultimate goal is not just interpolating the plain music terms to students, but being involved in those beautiful stories with them, in a way of singing or playing piano."

Biography:  Tiffany Chen, a Taiwanese vocalist and pianist, has been teaching piano and voice since 2012 and 2013 respectively. Being devoted herself to music education and performance, she wishes to inspire and nurture those who also love music.

Tiffany holds a Master of Music and Graduate Performance Diploma at Longy School of Music of Bard College (studying under Karyl Ryczek) and a Bachelor of Music Performance at National Taiwan University of Arts, double majoring in voice and piano. She was selected to receive vocal master class guidance from Dawn Upshaw at Longy. Over the past 7 years, she performed across Italy, China, Taiwan and the United States. Tiffany won the first prize in the Cross-Strait Taiwan Strait Cup Music Competition. By positively doing recitals throughout her career, she is always trying to find the cultural balance between Eastern and Western, achieve a prominent realm and become an all-round musician.

Tiffany began teaching in 2012 and joined Note-worthy Experiences in May 2023, where she teaches voice and piano.
