Teaching Philosophy: "Seba teaches beginner to advanced students and is comfortable in a variety of styles ranging from jazz and funk to classical. Core elements of his curriculum focus on learning songs, harmony, ear training, and sight reading as well as instrumental technique and skills. Music is about having fun and expressing ones self in a creative way. Seba’s goal is to help his students understand the fundamentals of music so that they can not only enjoy the music they make but have confidence in themselves and their skills."

Seba Molnar is a jazz saxophonist, woodwind artist, and private instructor, based out of Boston, Massachusetts. He has been gigging on saxophone and clarinet since the age of twelve. Seba grew up in Canton, New York, where his high school band director, Tim Savage, introduced him to jazz. After getting the music bug, he attended the Berklee College of Music, majoring in saxophone performance, with a concentration in jazz. He has had the opportunity to study with world-renowned saxophonists George Garzone, Bill Pierce, and Tia Fuller.

In addition to leading his own jazz groups, Seba performs throughout Boston and New England with a variety of bands. He currently makes regular appearances with The Seba Molnar Band, The New Review, The Collective, and Jave Jukebox.
Seba’s curiosity for new sounds and innovation has enabled him to create a wide array of music that transcends genre. His music, though heavily rooted in jazz, explores sounds and cultures from all around the world.

Seba has been teaching since 2011 and has been with Note-worthy Experiences since December 2017, where he teaches saxophone, clarinet, and beginner piano.

"Music speaks to the soul and brings people together affecting everyone in their own way. Music is a beacon of hope and peace in this tumultuous world."

Seba is a wonderful teacher for my son and a super nice guy.  He finds Seba engaging , very comfortable to be with and enjoys the lessons very much. My son feels he teaches him more than notes, rhythm, fundamentals and so much more. He looks forward to his weekly lessons and  is very impressed with Seba as he is super talented!
