Teaching Philosophy: "Everyone has the ability to learn how to play music! I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach; every student has a unique set of goals, musical interests, and learning styles. A knowledge of music theory can add a whole new level of connection and understanding when learning a piece of music. I believe that real progress takes time and that it’s important to break down a difficult challenge into manageable chunks. Learning music is incredibly rewarding, and the skills learned translate into many other parts of life!"
Biography: Bryce was raised in Cape Cod, MA, and started playing piano at the age of 6. Growing up, he also learned clarinet and bass guitar for school music groups. At the age of 16, after being selected as a jazz pianist for the MMEA South East District jazz band, he received a scholarship to study with the late jazz legend Billy Taylor, at his acclaimed “Jazz in July” program at Umass Amherst. The following year, he received a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music. Bryce graduated from Berklee in 2011, with a Bachelor of Music with a dual major in Electronic Production and Film Scoring.
Since graduating from Berklee, Bryce has done lots of different jobs related to music, including teaching, video game sound design, electronic music production, scoring for short films, podcasts, commercials, and web-based media, as well as testing and development for electronic keyboards and music production software. In 2018, Bryce released a full-length album entitled “Reflections”, a collection of music for yoga and meditation, which is available on iTunes, Spotify, and more.
Today, Bryce keeps busy playing keyboards as a soloist and with his band throughout New England. His wedding, event, and party-focused cover band, “Legends of Summer”, has won accolades from the Knot and the Improper Bostonian, and plays upwards of 30 weddings every year.
Bryce started teaching in 2010 and has been with Note-worthy Experiences since September 2019, where he teaches online. He is a member of the American College of Musicians Piano Guild.

My son has really enjoyed his piano lessons with Bryce. Bryce does a great job engaging with his students and encouraging them to push out of their comfort zone. He has also made it fun and motivating by introducing different genres of music from Start Wars, to Holiday Music, to Bach. It has also been good for my son to have a male teacher; he really looks up to him and wants to do better!

Bryce has been amazing and I have learned so much about the piano but also so much about theory and music in general. I had a successful first semester in the music therapy program at my university and attribute a lot of that to his help! He even helped me work through some assignments when I was struggling.
