Teaching Philosophy: "My goal is to equip my students with the confidence and tools they need to achieve their goals, all while enjoying the process. Through building a foundation of technique, music theory, and practice habits, I hope to impress a love for excellence and inspire students to dream big. I am passionate about teaching a wide range of genres as well as arranging, writing and improvisation, fostering well-rounded musicians who are ready to take on any musical opportunity. At the end of the day, I want my students to enjoy making music and feel accomplished."

Biography: Cherish is a versatile harpist with years of experience in a wide variety of musical styles and settings. Equally at home on the concert stage as in the recording studio, Cherish can be heard performing with local orchestra’s, teaching harp lessons, or pedal sliding her way through a jazz jam session. She has played alongside artists such as CeCe Winans and Michael W. Smith, and has graced the stage at venues such as the Schermerhorn Symphony Hall in Nashville Tennessee, and Sanders Theatre at Harvard University in Boston Massachusetts. Her love for music and travel has taken her across the states as well as abroad to Italy numerous times for music festivals and performances. She has her undergraduate degree in Commercial Harp Performance from Belmont University, and is currently pursuing her masters in Classical Harp Performance at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee.

Cherish has been teaching since 2017 and joined Note-worthy Experiences in March 2023.
