Teaching Philosophy: "Being passionate about teaching comes first. If a message is communicated clearly but without genuine passion, it will be heard but it might not be truly understood. Teaching with conviction and enthusiasm in the classroom, over the internet, or in the studio is essential to demonstrate theories and concepts before being able to put these into practice.

In order to be an effective teacher, a connection must be established between the teacher and the student. Similarly with the relationship between a transmitter and a receptor, the signal can only pass with the right frequency. If the student doesn’t understand the “why”, it will result in disinterest. The signal is lost and the message cannot get through. My goal is to always convey an active interest in the topic by using real life examples. Drawing on the experience I have gained working in the music industry, I can bridge the gap from theory to practice by transforming the non-tangible concepts of a school book into tangible, real-world examples inspired by actual life experiences.

As a tribute to my past mentors and teachers, I believe that it is important to respectfully pass on the collective knowledge I was given. A knowledge colored by my own experience as a professional composer, musician, producer and mix engineer working in the studio: an environment of constantly advancing technology and ever-changing musical tendencies of the music industry."

Biography: François-Paul Aïche is an award-winning TV composer, producer, songwriter, pianist and guitarist. Originally from Marseille, France, he went on to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston, earning degrees in film scoring and Music Production and Engineering.

With a career spanning over two decades, and spread between Boston, New York, and Los Angeles, François-Paul has worked in some of the most prestigious studios and music houses in the industry such as SOUTH Music and Sound Design, Capitol Records, Remote Control Productions, and Pusher Music, with world-class composers, engineers, producers, musicians and orchestras.
As a composer, he has worked on a wide variety of projects including video games (Spider Man 3, Matrix: The Path of Neo), TV shows (Clash of the Choirs, Majors and Minors, Frontline), commercials (Levi’s, Nintendo, YSL, Nike, Netflix, Nissan…), movie trailers (Wonder Woman, Wrecked Ralph 2, Catherine the Great, The Disaster Artist…) and documentaries (Love Thy Nature, Tutwiler…). He has co-written, recorded, produced and mixed songs, with artists like Caroline Vreeland, LP, Ames, Michelle Branch and Jared Lee. François-Paul released his first EP in 2020, and his most recent release “What’s Done” co-written with Britt Warner, was featured in the season 2 trailer of HBO’s series Raised By Wolves.

Francois-Paul is a Piano Guild Member, joined Note-worthy Experiences in October 2016 and teaches online as well as in person lessons.
