Teaching Philosophy: "My teaching philosophy centers on the principle that technical mastery paves the way for musical freedom, which in turn unlocks profound emotional expression. I focus on cultivating a solid technical foundation in my students, believing that precision and skill liberate them to explore the depths of musical storytelling. Through this journey, I aim to guide students toward performances that not only showcase their technical prowess but also resonate deeply with the listener's heart."

Biography:  Kendall Ramseur is a distinguished cellist, composer, and educator, known for his deep musicality and innovative teaching methods. With advanced degrees from Boston University and The North Carolina School of the Arts, Kendall's comprehensive understanding of music has propelled him into the spotlight, both as a performer and an educator.

His tenure with Sons of Serendip brought national attention on NBC’s "America's Got Talent," highlighting his ability to weave classical elements with modern flair. Beyond the quartet, Kendall's solo engagements, such as with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and at prestigious events like the World Expo in Dubai, showcase his broad appeal and technical mastery.

Kendall's compositions extend his reach into television and digital media, with original music featured on platforms like Netflix, the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), ABC, and NBC. His contributions to soundtracks and podcasts, including award-winning episodes, resonate with audiences worldwide, blending emotive storytelling with rich musical landscapes.

In his role as an educator, Kendall is dedicated to fostering the next generation of musicians, drawing on his diverse experiences to inspire creativity, discipline, and a love for music. His approach is personalized, emphasizing improvisation, composition, and ensemble performance, which encourages students to explore their unique musical voices.

Kendall Ramseur's approach reflects his belief in music's healing power and its ability to inspire. He is ready to guide students in unlocking their creative potential, emphasizing music's role as a catalyst for emotional expression and personal growth.
