Teaching Philosophy: "My main goal as a teacher is to create and foster a love of music in my students. I believe in exploring all different types of styles, genres, artists, and methods in lessons. Finding a balance between building strong technique, and doing what you enjoy is at the core of my teaching. Every student is different and I strive to mold my teaching around the students' individual needs and interests while also exposing them to new things. I love making and sharing music with people and I hope to spark that love in others!"
Biography: Heather Milberger is a vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter based in Boston. Growing up in Virginia, she learned to sing at an early age in her church’s choir. Heather chased her love for music all the way to New England Conservatory where she is earning her Bachelors of Music in Jazz Voice Performance. She has worked and performed with musicians such as Cecile Mclorin Salvant, Luciana Souza, Jason Moran, Dominique Eade, and many others. Heather performs her original music all over Boston including venues like Club Passim and The Jungle.
Teaching voice and guitar became a passion for Heather in 2017. She teaches privately and with organizations like Girls Rock and Brookline Public Schools. Heather teaches online lessons and has been with Note-worthy Experiences since March 2022.
