Teaching Philosophy: “As a music educator, I strive to provide my students with a safe, fun, and educational environment in which they feel excited to explore the joys of making music. Learning to play any instrument comes with its unique set of discoveries and fun challenges, and I see it as my duty to foster a space where students can grow at their own pace as musicians. I am greatly influenced by my previous mentors’ string-playing techniques that reduce tension and create an ease of playing that allows musicality to flourish; I seek to instill this same ease of making music in my students and to encourage them to be the best musicians they can be!”
