Teaching Philosophy: "My teaching philosophy is very freeform. I love teaching students how they are best taught. There is no cookie-cutter mold that fits each student's needs. Making sure my students have an interesting and fruitful experience is my personal challenge and goal of every lesson!"

Biography: Yvonne Cox is a charismatic harpist influenced by various musical genres and artistic mediums. She strives to contribute and inspire creativity in the world through music, both in performance and through collaborations. Cox is a versatile musician and frequently performs a diverse range of musical styles including solo, orchestral, chamber, and contemporary works. Ms. Cox has also had the pleasure of playing with orchestras throughout the United States and Canada: including the PRISMA Festival Institute Orchestra, Henderson Symphony Orchestra, Miami Classical Music Festival, and Brevard Music Center Orchestra. She made her solo debut with the Henderson Symphony Orchestra performing Alberto Ginastera's Harp Concerto as "The Harp Girl"!

Yvonne
obtained her B.M. in Harp Performance at the University of Arizona, where she studied with Dr. Michelle Gott, and her M.M. at the New England Conservatory under the tutelage of Jessica Zhou of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Currently, she resides in Boston! In her free time, she enjoys gushing over any and all animals that cross her path and pretending to be a celebrity chef in her kitchen.

Yvonne began teaching in 2020 and joined Note-worthy Experiences in August 2023.
